You asked, we listened. Basic plans have returned! We have also added IPv6 support for all of our plan levels, you can click in to read more about our new pricing structure and how to use IPv6 with your VPS.
Let’s get right into it! Our goal is to introduce IPv6 while also keeping our pricing model as close to before as possible. That being said, there are some small updates to our pricing plans effective immediately:
BASIC VPS PLANS (IPv6 Default, IPv4 +$2/mo) – Starting at $2/mo
Basic plans are back, now starting at $2/mo! There is also a $4/mo option. All Basic VPS plans come with 1 IPv6 address by default, an additional IPv4 Address can be added for $2/mo.
Basic Plan Restrictions:
- No Backups or Snapshots
- No SkyPoints Rewards Earnings
- No IPv4 by Default (can be added for $2/mo.)
STANDARD VPS PLANS (IPv4 & IPv6 INCLUDED) – Starting at $5/mo
Standard VPS plans now start at $5/mo and include an IPv4 AND an IPv6 address for FREE. All other Standard VPS features such as Backups, Snapshots, SkyPoints, etc remain the same.
PREMIUM VPS PLANS (IPv4 & IPv6 INCLUDED) – Starting at $10/mo
Premium VPS plans now start at $10/mo and also include an IPv4 AND an IPv6 address for FREE. All other Premium VPS features such as Backups, Snapshots, SkyPoints, Unlimited Transfer, etc remain the same.
How to connect to a SkySilk VPS via SSH using an IPv6 Address
If you are new to or unfamiliar with IPv6, have no fear! The SkySilk SSH Console has been updated to accommodate SSH connections via machines with IPv6; this includes machines with ONLY IPv6 as well.
