Customer Satisfaction is our top priority. This Rental Warranty shall be for the rental period as outlined in the terms, beginning on the date of shipment (of initial purchase) of Cloud-in-a-Box ("the Product(s)") to the Customer. This Warranty is between SkySilk Inc. ("SkySilk"), and the Customer. Always consult the corresponding documentation to ensure proper installation, use, and troubleshooting of all SkySilk equipment and products. For clients who later outright purchase, the Warranty Period will extend into the Standard 5 Year Warranty and such Warranty Period will have started at the date of shipment at the time of the Rental.
The Rental Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in the Product(s) as defined below.
SkySilk warrants the Product(s) the Customer purchased from SkySilk, or their authorized resellers, are free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use, during the Rental Warranty Period. The Rental Warranty applies only to Products sold by SkySilk or their authorized resellers and is limited to the original end user. The Rental Warranty is not transferrable and becomes void to anyone other than the end user of record as shown in SkySilk sales records.
The product is sold "as is" whereby SkySilk makes no warranties or conditions, except as expressly set for in this Rental Warranty. SkySilk expressly disclaims all warranties and conditions not stated in the Rental Warranty and makes no other warranties including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Certain States or Countries have laws that do not allow a limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. In such States or Countries, these exclusions or limitations may not apply to the Customer.
The Rental Warranty does not apply to expendable parts and does not extend to any Product from which the serial number has been removed or has been damaged or rendered defective under the following conditions:

During the Rental Warranty Period, SkySilk will repair or replace any defective component within the scope of the Rental Warranty. This is the Customer's exclusive remedy for defective products. For any parts that need to be replaced, SkySilk may require the Customer’s cooperation in diagnosing any defects or issues with the Product(s). SkySilk holds the right to award the Customer a refund of the purchase price instead of a replacement. After the Rental Warranty period, unless agreed to otherwise, Customer is responsible for paying any and all repair and/or replacement costs. Further, SkySilk, at its sole discretion, may agree to provide additional service for such Products, if after inspection by an authorized SkySilk representative, SkySilk determines the Product is still in acceptable operating condition. Warranty service availability and response times may vary from time zones and/or country to country.
SkySilk does not warrant the operation of the Product will be uninterrupted or error-free. SkySilk is not responsible for damage that occurs as a result of the Customer's failure to follow the instructions supplied with the product, including, but not limited to, instructions related to safety measures to be observed and/or performing maintenance on the product. All items purchased from SkySilk are made pursuant to a shipment contract whereby the risk of loss and title for such Products passes to the Customer at the time SkySilk delivers the Product to the common carrier.
SkySilk highly recommends all Customers regularly and consistently back-up their network data per industry standards as well as perform a complete data backup of any systems prior to sending Products in for warranty repair.
This constitute the complete and exclusive Warranty agreement between the Customer and SkySilk. These terms and conditions supersede any prior agreements or representations, including representations made by SkySilk agent or employee regarding Customer's purchase of the Product as well as representations made in SkySilk sales literature or advice given to the Customer. No change to the conditions of the Rental Warranty is valid unless made in writing and signed by an authorized SkySilk representative.
